ONE: BOYFRIEND and SHARPIES...
TWO: LITTLE GREEN GNOMES and VERTICAL LINES...
THREE: SEAN KELLY GALLERY...
I did not make the chairs. But just to let you know, there's a huge sale on folding chairs at Ikea.
I painted the chair with a permanent marker. Actually, I had to use several big, black permanent markers to cover every nook and cranny on that darn thing. There's a lot more surface area on that chair than you think. (Why cover the chair in ink?)
I picked this particular chair because it looked the most interesting to me. The vertical lines stuck out... the grid-like design... The geometry of this chair... Also, I was too lazy to go out looking for a chair so I just "borrowed" my boyfriend's desk chair... He thinks it's stolen and I'm out looking for it, so don't tell him anything. (MORE ABOUT THIS DUDE>>>)
I put the photograph in that position because I wanted something eye-catching. And nothing's more eye-catching than a seemingly floating chair. (How is the photo positioned?)
You could sit on the real chair if you like or if you're tired. A word of warning, though: I don't think the permanent ink is dried yet.
The title refers to three "chairs," if you know what I mean.
The chair is made of wood... And covered in permanent ink... And made in China... Though I'm not too sure about that last part since it's supposedly manufactured by gnomes and everyone knows gnomes are European.
I got the chair definition from Webster's Dictionary. Or was it Merriam-Webster? I wasn't aware Webster got married. It could've been Oxford, which would make more sense since Oxford has his own university.

I made the photo life-size because I wanted to make it look as realistic as possible. Of course, that would depend on your perspective since if you were to look at the real chair at a different angle, it would remind you of a Picasso painting. If you don't understand that last statement, you're obviously not a student of the arts. (But, please say more about looking at the actual chair vs looking at the photo of the chair...)
Like I mentioned before, the chair used to be my boyfriend's desk chair. (It's covered in permanent ink, so now I need to go ahead and get him a new one...) Now I have to go to Ikea to find a replacement as he is quite fond of that chair and its particular color. Hmm, I wonder if that folding chair sale is still going on. You don't suppose he would suspect a difference with a non-folding chair, do you?
